Hello!

Could you please help me? I want to clone the structure, but have the following error:

Problem copying field "Reporter" of ...: The reporter specified is not a user.

The previous reporter is not in system now. And such restriction does not allow me to clone the structure.

Hi Anastasia,

Sadly, Structure cannot handle this kind of copying as it requires explicit input from the user. There are a few alternative solutions, but they depend on what kind of Structure are you using. If there are not many issues containing the deleted reporter, then you can filter them out of structure and copy the remaining structure. After that you can manually copy the broken issues and add them to a new structure. With automated structure you can copy issues in Jira (using csv export/import) and then organize them in a new structure using similar automation. You can even use bulk operation to replace reporters, but that is not a good solution in general.

We are looking for a solution to such use cases, but at the moment only workarounds are possible.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
