Hi community,
I'd like to know if it is possible to edit the periods in Tempo (and How) ? The default configuration is monthly but our organization needs a weekly period management. I can't find this information in the documentation.
Thanks for yout time,
Thomas

Can you confirm that the period is still open in the Period manager. If it is, can you create a ticket in our support project (https://tempoplugin.jira.com/browse/JTS) so we can better investigate this. Any additional information is appreciated (f.x. screenshots)

Susanne,
I used the scheduler to close the last week and it worked, thanks. But I tried to use the "grace period" for a user of my team by letting her 3 hours to complete her timesheet but it does not work : she is not able to edit her timesheet (for the period selected).
We use Tempo 7.9.2.
Is there a bug or do I something wrong ?
Thanks again for your precious help.
Thomas

Hi,
"Period mamagement" gives you the possibility to close the Timesheet for logging/ editing for all Tempo users (Team members and Users with Approve Timesheet permission) (https://tempoplugin.jira.com/wiki/display/TEMPO079/Period+Management)
"Period" gives you the possibility to set a monthly period that is used for billing/ salary. The timesheet can be set to this period and it will show the required hours for this time. This period will not be closed automatically for logging or editing. (https://tempoplugin.jira.com/wiki/display/TEMPO079/Configuring+Periods+and+Week+Start+Day)
The scheduler can be used to remind users to log their time and close the timesheet for logging/ editing. It is still possible to give users a "grace period". To do this, the period must be open in the Period management. (https://tempoplugin.jira.com/wiki/display/TEMPO079/Grace+Periods)
Hope this helps
Kind regards,
Susanne

So if i set the scheduler to weekly, after the "Next close" date users won't be able to add or edit their worklog ? Is that correct ?
In this case what is the use for Periods ?
I think I don't totally get it, so thank you for your precious explainations Benediky ! :)
