Folio configuration says: "Only the owner and administrators of the FOLIO have the rights to actually modify any the Folio's configuration fields." It seems there is no global administrative access to Folios available for JIRA administrator groups?
What if the user(s) in Owner or Administrator roles are not available? For example, user accounts disabled due to leaving organization. How to recover edit/administrator access to Folios in such a case?
FOLIO 7.2 will introduce a super-admin that will have full access in read and write mode on all folios and portfolios. This will make it easier to recover folios and portfolios owned by obsolete JIRA users.
Cheers,
FOLIO Team
Indeed Markus, this has been requested very recently and was added to the backlog. We'll try to make this available as soon as possible. In the meantime, if you need access to the data of a blocked folio quickly, a possible workaround is to manually update the OWNER_USER field of the AO_*_FOLIO table to that of a valid user key.
We're truly sorry for any inconvenience.
BR,
Marc

Also note that an admin could reset the user's password (not ideal either, but might be less error prone than tweaking the database). Marc
