How to set a task beginning and end date in BigPicture outside of the Gantt view?

I have a task that got a random start date somehow way in the future and it's a pain to move it manually in the gantt chart. Where else can I change the start/end date for this task?

(I'm using the default settings for Big Picture)

if you've added the start and end date fields to the JIRA screen and issue type screen scheme then you can edit those fields right from the JIRA view/edit issue screen.
