How to update parent issue to "in progress" on only the first child issue transitioned?

We have automation set up that updates a parent issue to "In Progress" when a child issue is moved to the same status.

For parent issues with multiple children, this causes the the activity feed of the parent to be updated with "[user] started progress on [parent issue number]". We're trying to figure out how to have this occur only on the first transition of a child issue to "In Progress" so it doesn't clutter up the activity feed on the parent issue.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thank you!
