How to reference Object Types from another Schemas?
For example hosts are in IT Asset schema, and I want to reference buildings and room numbers that are in another schema.
You'll have to wait for future release.

For anyone else stumbling across this question, the feature was released with Insight 5.4.1. To enable it, go to the general tab of the object schema configuration and check the checkbox labeled "Allow others to select objects from this schema".
In the example provided by Sanja, the above would be configured in the object schema containing the buildings and rooms. Then, in the IT Asset schema, configure the relevant object attributes to show objects from the "buildings and rooms" object schema as options.
Note that users will only be able to select objects from schemas they have access to.
