Insight validation attribute of default type text

I am trying to validate the input of an object in the insight plugin, where the "Status" is an attribute on the object type Desk where we need to validate the input to be good or requires repair. 

I tried the below IQL but it is always giving invalid input even when adding the right text.

You need to use regular expressions as outlined here: https://docs.oracle.com/javase/7/docs/api/java/util/regex/Pattern.html

IQL, doesn't work in that field.
