Integrate JIRA Work Time Calendar with Google Calendar

Hi Volodymyr

I downloaded JIRA Work Time Calendar today and I'm trying to integrate it with a team Google Calendar I set up.  I (think) I followed the instructions for a hosted JIRA environment but I'm getting the following error:

Can not authenticate to google calendar

error: immediate_failed, subtype: origin_mismatch

Background:

• Using JIRA v6.4.7 in our own secure environment (I have to VPN to our network to access JIRA)
• Set up a non-public google calendar including what I think are the correct Authorized JavaScript origins and Authorized redirect URLs
• Enabled the Google Calendar API and created an OAuth 2.0 credentials as per JIRA Work Time Doc
• Configured JIRA Work Time by enabling Google Cal and added the Client ID calendar URL.

Is there any way:

• To test that I've configured the Calendar API correctly - using a command line (e.g ping) or open it in a browser window or something?  I was able to test using: calendar.calendarList.list and 

Any hints would be great.

Thanks for your response.  

It prompted me to keep trying some different combinations and I was able to get it to link into the Google Calendar with the following.

Authorized JavaScript origins: https://xxxjirasrvr.xxxintsrvrny.com

Authorized redirect URIs: https://xxxjirasrvr.xxxintsrvrny.com/secure/JWorkCalendar.jspa

For me it works with https://xxxjirasrvr.xxxintsrvrny.com for booth Authorized JavaScript origins and Authorized redirect URIs.

Hi Mike,

Unfortunately configuration of the google calendar integration is not straightforward.

Based on the error I assume that you put wrong values to Authorized JavaScript origins and Authorized redirect URIs. For standalone installations you need to put your JIRA URL. https://jira-work-calendar.com is for cloud instances.
