JIRA Project configurator issue - prevent creation of versions and components

How do I prevent the project configurator from creating versions and components? I am using this tool to migrate projects between instances.  PC will migrate the configuration and create the versions and components.  I then need to remove these before I can import the issues.  How can I prevent their creation?

When launching the import you can select object types that will be ignored or skipped. This is explained in this page. If you select to ignore "Versions" and "Components" they will not be created.
