Jira 5.2.5 and Jira Mobile plugin - Does Mobile plugin work with Apache SSO?

I have installed Jira Mobile plugin 1.0m12 (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.atlassian.jira.mobile/version/21) on a Jira 5.2.5 machine using Apache SSO. In an iPhone's Safari browser I cannot stay logged in using the Mobile interface. If I switch to the desktop interface or turn off the plugin I stay logged into Jira. Has anyone else faced this issue? If so, do you have suggestions on how to keep users logged into the Mobile interface? Thank you for your time.
