The official JIRA/Slack integration (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1220099/jira-server-for-slack-official?hosting=server&tab=support\) is currently listed as only supporting JIRA Server versions through 8.6.1. We recently upgraded to JIRA Server 8.7.1, and when trying to install the integration we see "Installed but Incompatible -- This app installed successfully, but it is incompatible with your JIRA version. Features and functionality might be limited."
Will this integration be upgraded for JIRA Server 8.7.1?
Hey @Charles_Bornstein and @Patryk -
Today the plugin was marked as compatible for 8.7.1. You should see this reflected on Marketplace soon, and there will be no need to upgrade your plugins. This was just a simple version tag update with no changes to the code. The incompatible tag will go away in your plugin manager once it checks in with Marketplace for the version info. Thanks for your patience while we ran compatibility checks on the plugin!
Cheers,
Daniel | Atlassian Team
Patryk,
I have not seen anything from Atlassian stating that this will not continue to be updated. We have the same issue. The last update was in December so I would assume that another update will be coming soon. Make sure that you click the request an update button so they know that you are waiting for the update to come out.
Next time before you update you can run the Jira update check to see what apps are not currently compatible. My experience is it takes Atlassian a couple of weeks after they release a new version to update their apps.

Does anyone have any idea when the Slack plugin will be available for 8.7.1? Our team has just started using Slack as we are all working remotely. Integration would be very helpful.
