Jira Service Desk Customer Behaviour for Select List

I have implemented a Behaviour that allows me to control the options that are set for a select list based on another field value. I have set up the Mapping to the Request Type and to the Issue Type. My script works in the Agent view. However, it does not seem to work in the Portal view. Is there a limitation on updating the list values for a Select List field in the Portal?

Derek,

I would suggest taking a look at this open bug report: https://productsupport.adaptavist.com/browse/SRJIRA-2687

That bug prevents the use of behaviours on certain fields within Service Desk. I have implemented a fix for that bug in this issue: https://productsupport.adaptavist.com/browse/SRJIRA-2545

SRJIRA-2545 will add support for the commentLevel field in behaviours, but will also fix behaviours so that they can be used within the Service Desk portal on Select Lists, MultiSelects, Cascading Selects, RadioButtons, Checkbox fields etc.

I would recommend watching SRJIRA-2545 so you are aware of its release.

Thanks,

Josh

Thanks for pointing this out. I have started watching this and informed my client that as soon as it is released, I will update their environment to get the Portal behavior working.
