Hi, we are trying to demo team calendar, but it's blocked internally because it appears to be a Russian url - it' trying to hit the following address: calendar.teamlead.ru
Are there any plans to move this off this region and provide the capability to use another location?
Thanks,
Jim
I'm a bit confused here. So Atlassian has a product called 'Team Calendars' however this is a plugin/app for Confluence, not Jira.
At the same time, there is a plugin for Jira called Calendar for Jira - Plan Team Activities. However this plugin is not created by Atlassian, instead it is by the vendor, Teamlead. While their site is at that .ru address, their plugin is hosted on our Marketplace site under the link I included previously.
So technically you could download and use this plugin without having to visit that vendor's site. The only reason I think you might need to connect to their site is if you need technical support from that vendor for this product. In that case, you might need to reach out to their support portal under their .ru address.
It's Jira Teamlead Calendar that we are attempting to use. We have the cloud version of Jira, I added the Jira Teamlead Calendar via Manage Add-ons in the cloud. When you try to launch it - it tries to launch the .ru link and that is blocked due to our firewall policies. Most likely because it's a Russian url.
Our goal is to try and find a calendar or mechanism to track workload for my team. We want to pull in all jira projects, log vacation time, etc. so we can easily forecast who has bandwidth to take on more work. Is there anything in the Jira tool or an add-on that can help with this function? Thanks

Hummm, have you looked at Tempo Planner? While I have not personally used this one, the description appears to be able to offer things like a calendar, and forecasting a teams workload.
There might also be other viable options in https://marketplace.atlassian.com
