Why Atlassian deprecates this plugin?

This plugin is deprecated, but it's useful to show a selection of columns and a specific sheet. And there's no similar feature in any other plugin!

Furthermore, you can include this plugin into a chart plugin, and display graphs directly from this datasource. This feature is useful too!

Excel Macro from Excel for Confluence supports column and sheet selection and works with the chart macro.
