Mail when user gets a role

Hey there,

is there a possibility to get an email when any person will be added to a special project role?

Backround: we created a role which has special rights to see some issues. As far as we have a couple of project admins to administrate the project(adding new employees to roles, etc.) a lot of persons could give this special role to a user who should not be allowed to see this issues. As far as we cannot restrict giving the special role to a special group of users we would like to get informed when this special is given to any person so that we get informed when person gets this role by mistake.

Hi Tobias,

Essentially you are looking to send an email when a user is added to a project rule. Unfortunately this is not something Automation for Jira can do as we don't listen for these user events.
