New glossary version - Glossary fails

Hello community,

I updated my glossary plugin to 4.0.1 and now the glossary icon on top of the page is no more visible (browser shows a "could not load" icon) and click on this place is without function.  I tried to downgrade the glossary version to let my customers use the old version but unfortionately now even the old verison does not work well: the icon is visible but click on it does not highlight the terms contained in the glossary.

My questions:

• are Confluence 6.2.3 and glosary 4.0.1 incompatible? I didn't find any information about compatibility.
• if so how could i downgrade the exisiting glossary version? For some reasons I cannot upgrade the Confluence version right now.
• if the two versions are not incompatible what could help to make glossary working again?

Can anybody help me? Thx in advance.

My current Confluence (server) version is 6.2.3.
