Outlook Calendars for Confluence - can't connect to Jira instance via Oath

I have followed the directions from [support documentation] to configure the Confluence/Jira integration for this add-on but the console in Confluence always throws a 401 error when trying to add Jira to the calendar. 

Has anyone else run into this? I'm stumped on how to move forward.
