PageMe Error when trying to connect to Confluence

Hello:

JIRA Version 7.3.1

Confluence: 6.0.5

PageMe: 2.1.4

When I'm in the PageMe configuration and attempting to choose a linked instance, I receive an error "An error raised when trying to reach the Confluence server: SSLPeerUnverifiedException - SSL peer failed hostname validation for name: null' when attempting to connect JIRA/Confluence so I will need to work with IT to get this resolved."

Hi Scott,

I tagged the vendor behind that plugin on this case, so they have a better chance of seeing this, but it sounds like there might be a misconfiguration with either your SSL or your login provider... Are you using SAML/ an IDP? 

There might be more hints in your logs such as atlassian-confluence.log or your catalina.out so please have a look there and let us know if you see any further errors.
