It seems I cannot find the fields with type "Project Specific Select Field" in JIRA Gadgets, e.g. "Two Dimensional Filter Statistics", "Pie Chart".
Is this limitation of the Project Specific Select Field plugin?
PS. I am using JIRA 6.4.1.
Thank you for your response.
I am using the Project Specific Select Field (simple). All fields were created before upgrading from 5.1.3 to 6.4.1. After upgrading, the type of all fields displays as "Project Specific Select Field (simple)" instead.
FYI, while our JIRA was 5.1.3, we used the plugin v.1.0.0. After upgrading to 6.4.1, we use the plugin v.2.4.1 instead.
After upgrading, why were all fields upgraded to the Project Specific Select Field (simple), instead of Project Specific Select Field?
Is it possible to migrate the type of all fields from "Project Specific Select Field (simple)" to "Project Specific Select Field"? Please advise.
What is the difference between both field types?
I found both field types available in 6.4.1.

Project Specific Select Field (simple) resp. custom field as of version 1 (and renamed to "simple" in version 2) is based on a text field, while the two custom field types introduced with version 2 of the plugin are based on a regular select field. There are some drawbacks of the text based approach. One is that it is not available in two-dimentional statistics and charts. Sadly there is no staight forward way to migrate from Project Specific Select Field (simple) to Project Specific Select Field. But we can together work out a procedure which includes some shell scripts and SQL. You will need to create a new custom field and you will copy all valies to this new custom field and change all issues to refer to this new custom field instead of the old one via SQL. If you are intetested in, I would recommend that you create a custom field of type Project Specific Select afield to get familiar with the new concept of custom field contexts (see docementation). Then we can wirk out a plan. Best would be to get in touch via email. Best regards Holger

In general this should work. I need to check if there is a problem with JIRA 6.4 or if there is a bug in myplugin. You are using Project Specific Select Field and not Project Specific Select Field (simple), correct? Do you see other custom field there available?
