Questions regarding PluginAccessor.getEnabledModuleDescriptorByClass() returning empty list

Murugesan Guruswamy October 30, 2012

Hi,

I am trying to create a plugin that has similar functionality like a browse component has to have tabs for summary, issues and popular issues. I had created similar type of panel and I have tried both WebPanel Plugin and re-implementing the Component Panel Approach.

Has anyone tried mimicking the Component Panel approach ? Whenever I try to get ModuleDescriptors, it always return an empty list of tabbed panels. If I use the Component Panel Plugin Module, then I can see the new panel, but if I wanted to create a brand new set of Panels, then it returns empty list.

I am using getEnabledModuleDescriptorsByClass() in PluginAccessor.

Any help is appreciated or pointers welcome.

By Adding module-type, I was able to load the ModuleDescriptors now.
