Adding a comment to new task

Hello.

I am working on some onboarding automation and as part of that I want it to when a task of a specific type is created and request participant is set based on information from another costume field then a set comment is added to the case, thus generating it to go out to the request participant person. Is this possible? And if so, how?

Hi Roger,

It sounds like your rule should work as follows:

• Triggered when an issue is created
• If the issue is of a specific type
• If the request participant matches another custom field
• Then add a comment to the issue

Is that correct?

Correct. And I must appologise. I had looked trough the options for actions multiple times but for some reason I must have kept overlooking the add comment option, leading me to believe a script or something like that was needed. I found it now, but thanks allot for answering :)
