We have a flow where support enters feature requests on behalf of a client in Jira Service Desk - each ticket is for the account that requested it so we can log that back in our Salesforce accounts, we link those tickets to existing requests in the backlog to show the amount of customers who are asking for a feature. Having the ability to increase a vote for that feature for each ticket that's linked will give us much more visibility into how much this feature is requested rather than having to click into each ticket and count the number of linked tickets. Are there any ways to automate voting?
Hi Danielle,
While we can't edit the vote count, what we do internally to track the number of customers requesting a feature is link the ticket to the issue and then have a rule (obviously) that runs every hour to update a number custom field called "Links".
We can then search and order by the popularity of the issue:
Hope that helps.

Hi Danielle,
On the trigger, do you have the option "Only include issues that have been updated" checked? For this use-case it may be best to have this unchecked as linking the issue doesn't update the "Updated date".
Also, can you provide a screenshot of the audit log as this may provide an answer to what is happening.
Cheers,
Nick
