I'm importing a Bugzilla (4.0.1) system into JIRA 6.1.7. We have a custom field "Target Version" that would ideally be mapped over to the JIRA "Fix Version/s" field. Is there a way to do that? Entering "Fix Version/s" into the mapping screen didn't work - I had hoped that JIRA would give the option in the list but it doesn't.
Hi Bruce,
Unfotunately there is no possiblity to do that. Currently JIM is only mapping Bugzilla Custom Fields to JIRA Custom Fields of the corresponding type. The only workaround that I can think of is to Bulk Edit issues after import.
I admit that this may be annoying, so I've raised an improvement request under JIM Project: https://ecosystem.atlassian.net/browse/JIM-1175
On the "Choose Operation" page which option did you use? I first created the custom field, with the search function enabled, then imported the data from bugzilla and I am now trying to change "Fix Version/s" to the custom field but don't see a place where that option is available.

You want to run a search to find a single version, then use the bulk option to edit the Fix Version/s field so that it contains that version.

See https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Modifying+Multiple+%28Bulk%29+Issues- following those instructions worked for me after I enabled the search function on the custom field and reindexed the project.

I have run into the same problem and don't quite understand how I would Bulk Edit issues from "Fix Version/s" to a custom field. I don't see that option on the Bulk Edit "Choose Operation" page. Can you please help?
