Can I add a workflow transition condition to make sure a role has a user assigned?

I'd like to add a workflow transition condition to make sure that a role has a user assigned to it.

For example, I shouldn't be allowed to move an issue into the "Active Development" state without assigning a user to the "Developers" role for that issue.

I can see the condition to make sure that time has been estimated for a particular role, but not that a user has been assigned to it.

Is it possible to do this? If not, can I add a feature request for this, please?

Hi Richard, the latest version of the plugin now has a new Workflow Transition Condition that checks to make sure a Project Role has been assigned.

• For JIRA 6.0+ that is version 1.3.2
• For JIRA 7.0+ that is version 1.7.2
