Can I search for a Tempo "Work Description" using Jira

Hi there

We use Tempo to log time and require everyone to enter a description of what work they carried out.

When we export to Excel using Tempo, this field shows up as "Work Description"

It doesn't seem to be possible to search in the Jira search tool for any Tempo fields, including this one. Is this possible in any way?

Hi Lisa,

so far it is not possible to search for Tempo fields with the Jira search tool.

What you can do, is create a feature request. Please create an issue in our Atlassian JIRA (https://tempoplugin.jira.com/browse/JTMPO). Other users with similar requests can vote on these issues and contribute by adding comments that will help Tempo developers implement the request.

As a workaround you can use the Excel export and use the search feature there.

Hi Lisa, How did you use the j-tricks jql plugin to search description? which function did you use?
