Can I use Automation for JIRA to log work on a parent issue of a subtask when it is transitioned?

We are having difficulties summarising the time spent on a story as our devs log their time on the story's sub-tasks. Is there a way we can aggregate the time logged on the sub-tasks and populate the worklog of the story?

JIRA already aggregates the time spent on subtasks in the "aggregate" time fields, and displays it if you check the "Include subtasks" option.

But if you want to copy time spent from subtasks to the parent issue during a transition, you could do that using the JIRA Misc Workflow Extensions add-on.
