Can't include HTML in Introduction Gadget

From a few days I can't include HTML code in Introduction Gadget. Anything I put here It's displayed as plain-text.

This feature was removed in the July 2nd update. Also an issue was created to bring back support for HTML.

Please bring back HTML - my Introduction gadget looked so nice before!!

It happened to me as well.

My solution was to enter wiki markup instead of HTML code.
