Can the HTML Macro be disabled in the Macro Toolbox?

There are several features in the Macro Toolbox I'd like to use, but our security department may have to evaluate the HTML Macro portion. To prevent the broader rollout from being delayed, I'd like to disable this specific macro until the review is complete; is this possible?

Did you mean HTML comment? 

Due to security reasons, HTML macro is not available on Confluence Cloud, as mentioned in Confluence Cloud Restricted Functions|
