Confluence CLI: HTTP Authentication

Hi everyone!

I'm using the confluence cli to find and replace some strings in a whole space. now i'm using http authentication AND the confluence authentication to gain access to my atlassian environment. 

is it possible to use BobSwift confluence CLI with HTTP Authentication enabled?

@Markus Are you saying you have HTTP Basic auth to access the server and, additionally, different credentials to access Confluence itself?

If that is the case, I believe you will have problems whether using the CLI or native Confluence REST API. 

The Confluence REST APIs use the same basic auth HTTP headers that the server would be using to enable access. 

If both the server and Confluence allowed access using the same credentials, it might work.

Agree, CLI will work just like REST API as long as the server supports access via http.
