Hello all,
i try to create daily or weekly backups of a Confluence flow board, which can be easily restored (ideally separate cards).
The problem is when exporting and later importing via Word you only get an empty board without the contents (cards).
Question 1: Another way would be via the Confluence administration. There you can export as JSON. How can this form be imported again?
Question 2. Is there another way to create and import a backup of a flow board?
Thanks a lot in advance.
Greeting
Christian
Hello @Christian Bnr :
Thanks for your interest in Flow Board . I work for Artemis Software and we developed that plugin/app.
We have a REST API that our app uses that you could probably use to import (create/update). We hadn't documented that API before because we are planning on wrapping it in UI to allow you to click your way through import/copy operations but we do have the API available as a possible workaround until the import/copy features are delivered. I'll come up with some details to provide to you.
Feel free to open a help desk ticket with us: Artemis Software Support Portal . If you open a ticket please mention my name and say I am going to work with you on this issue so that frontline support can escalate immediately to me.
Here are some Flow Board Feature Requests of interest:
FB-111 Import JSON to a single board
FB-85 Copy board - copied board does NOT update original board
You can vote on any of our Feature Requests if you would like to (Article: Vote on Jira Issues).
