I can see what you mean, this information is not included if you use format=excel. It is included in the XML export. I will talk to the development team about this. As a workaround you can use the XML export and import it to Excel.

please take a look at https://tempoplugin.jira.com/wiki/display/TEMPO/Tempo+Servlet+Manual. If you add "addBillingInfo=true" to your URL (parameter g) you get both category and client and some more information about the account.

the URL you are using should return you the Category and Customer (Client). At the end of each worklog information you should get the Account Information.
I attach an example from our Test database, the URL used is:
http:// jira.mydomain/plugins/servlet/tempo-getWorklog/?dateFrom=2015-02-01&dateTo=2015-02-28&format=xml&diffOnly=false&addBillingInfo=true&tempoApiToken=mytoken
and the result returned shows:

I have two problems:
1. I use this link: http://jira.mydomain/plugins/servlet/tempo-getWorklog/?dateFrom=2013-12-01&dateTo=2014-01-16&format=excel&diffOnly=false&addBillingInfo=true&tempoApiToken=my-token
I got new fields but I don't see Customer and Category.
2. Despite of th default (false) values I see a lot of fields:
