Default Assignee from nFeed column

We have nFeed custom field that behaves like Components. It is called Area.

When user select a record the Area field is populated.

In our external database table the Area record has more columns then just Code; one of these being Default Assignee.

We would like the value in the Default Assignee column to be populated into JIRA Assigne field after selecting the Area.

Any idea how to implement such functionality?

Hello Robert,

One way to achieve it would be:

- Create a new readonly nFeed field that will store the "Default Assignee" attribute based on the Area that has been selected.

- Copy the value from the above nFeed field to the Assignee field with another add-on

Might be worth trying.
