Do the status displays work with Jira NextGen projects?

The status display is blank in Gantt and Scope for nextgen projects but is populated for classic projects. I set up the nextgen projects for BigPicture, but think i must be missing something.

Hi Tomek,

Thanks for the quick reply. I had looked at the missing features and functionalities. The closest feature/functionality i see is Color by Status. Is Color by Status meant to replace displaying the status lozenge, and it is a missing feature?

No, please look at 'Views of fields of Program Perspectives' in 'Feature/functionality' column (or simply hit CTRL+F and type "Status"). 

To be more precise, this is the second point of 'Jira fields'.

Statuses are not displayed due to lack of workflow configuration in next-gen projects.
