Do we need to create a new test case in order to save the current test case?

Currently i'm not able to save the current test case test steps. In order to save it I have figured out a way temporarily by creating a new test case so that the previous steps are save. Many a times I lost the test steps when I loose the internet connection/close the tab after clicking on "ADD" for the last test case.

Should I make a habit of using this way or is this is glitch which is causing this as I see there is not a single option to save my work as draft like how we have on Confluence page.
