Does database-values-plugin v5.1.1 work with JIRA Server v8.3.3 or the latest version?

We have this plugin working with JIRA Server v8.2.4, but not sure this will work with later version. Hope someone could share their experience having this running on version 8.3.3 or 8.4.

I've got a test server with version 8.4.2

unfortunately, whenever this addon is enabled, users are unable to use the dropdown menus, as they will not show/display info:

It simply shows a white bar, and nothing more.
