Does purchase include a test/dev server license?

Does purchase include a license for my jira test server as well as production? Am I allowed to install a copy of the license on my test server?

Um, oddly, that's not quite right.

Your production licence allows you to have a single production system. It comes with a "developer" license, which you can use for any reasonable non-production use. Basically, that's disaster recovery, migrations and testing.

You don't need an evaluation licence once you've got a production one.
