We are currently using the Secure Login plugin. However, some of our users do not have or can not access their mobile device in the work place. Do you support hardware tokens (key fob like devices) instead of mobile phones and if so, could you recommend a device. Thanks
Dear Michael,
yes, Secure Login does support hardware tokens as long as they are RFC 6238 (TOTP) compatible. Ever since Secure Login supported the usage of Yubikeys, but since version 2.5.x it is also possible to use cheaper programmable or hardcoded TOTP hardware tokens.
We can recommend the tokens from Token2, which we also used for testing this functionality: https://www.token2.com/shop/category/classic-tokens
Our admin guide contains a description, how to register this hardware tokens with Secure Login: https://syracom-bee.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SL/pages/14942219/Administrator+s+Guide#Administrator'sGuide-UserManagerandSupportofHardware-Tokenusermanager
With kind regards,
Alexander
