Error when executing post fonction that sets today's date on a date custom field

I configured a postfunction rule on my workflow that states :

On the transition from To do to In progress the field Start Date will take the value of the date of the transition. I tried the goovy functions new Date() and new Date().clearTime() and when I tested them it worked. But then when I tried to transition an actual ticket from To do to In progress I got this error:

Our Jira is configured in french.

Any ideas on what/where the problem might be?

Nevemind! I have solved the issue in the meantime. The problem was that in the post-fonction confiuration Value type was not set to Groovy Expression. Once I did it, it worked perfectly.
