Gantt-Chart seems to throw an error

This was asked in https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/260741/jira-gantt-chart-throws-error, but was not tagged. I thought I'd ask a new question and tag it - perhaps Frank Polscheitwill see it sooner.

We are using JIRA 6.1.3, Gantt-Chart 3.0.0-JIRA6 and Structure plugin 2.6.0. We updated both plugins to these versions on 02/10/14. Shortly thereafter a couple of users attempted to select Structure->Gantt-Chart AddOn->Gantt-Chart. This resulted in an error:

"Exception occurred loading search request: No filter. Unable to parse the query 'project= ORDERBY project asc, txVersion asc, assignee asc, ct[10011] asc, issuekey asc' with thrown exceptiion: 'Error in JQL Query: Expecting either a value, int or function but got 'ORDER' in quotation marks to use it as a value (line 1, character 10)"

Is there something between Structure and Gantt-Chart integration that might be broken in these versions of the plugins?

Hi Oleg,

please download my Gantt-Chart v3.1.0 from my server at http://www.polscheit.de/plugins/jira/gantt-chart/gantt-3.1.0-JIRA6.jarand install it using the „upload“-button on „manage add ons“: I have fixed that as well as other topics, extended it by integrating resource utilizations ("resource planning" tab is obsolete, now) into Gantt diagram if your related JQL contains "assignee" within its ORDER BY-clause, the Gantt-Gadget has been updated to v3-look & feel , epic support has been enhanced (JIRA Agile) and other features.

Gantt-Chart v3.1.0 is compatible to IE10 and IE11, Chrome (my favorite based on best performance), Firefox, Safair and Opera.

Hi Frank,

Thanks so much for a quick fix. We updated the plugin, and I can confirm that the previous error no longer occurs. The Gantt-Chart shows the currently selected structure in the dropdown menu and renders the chart as expected.

Hi Frank,

I have some more info. A colleague pointed out that when you first select Gantt-Chart in Structure menu, it opens a page with the error, but there are two boxes above it. Once it for the time period, the other is for the filter/structure selection. The default in the latter is "No filter". If I choose a filter or a structure, the gantt chart appears (although the red error box gets pushed to the bottom). It seems that the default choice is the issue and should be handled, so nothing appears. Hope this helps!
