Hi,
Want to use the BarChart plugin to create a Stacked Barchart showing the sum of StoryPoints per IssueType per Sprint.
So each bar in the chart represents a Sprint and the bar contains sections that represent an issueType where the height of the section represents the sum of the storypoints of all the issues of the specific issueType for the specific Sprint.
I wonder if this is at all possible with the plugin, as I seem to only be able to group on issueType and then not have the height of the section depend on the sum of the storypoints, but first there is another problem: I get the message "Custom field Sprint is eventually not supported". This Sprint field is a Custom Field added to Jira by Greenhopper.
Am I doing something wrong, is this a flaw in the BarChart plugin or a fundamental limitation for plugins in Jira
P.
Hi P,
the error message you were receiving was part of a bug that did not allow to sort tickets on the X axis after fields that have no value. This was fixed in version 2.5.1 that has now been released.
The sprint field could possibly be supported soon - I've had a quick look at it now and it seems that the main issue is the display of sprint names. I can give no promises, but it might be in an upcoming version.
Best,
Ruben
The message "Custom field Sprint is eventually not supported" seems to be gone, now I just get a "An internal server error occurred when requesting resource ." when I specify the Domain Axis to be the Sprint field. Most other fields do work, so it has to do with selecting the Sptring field for the domain axis.
The main part of my question still stands through: can I create a barchart that shows a bar per sprint, grouped by sum of storypoints per issueType?

Hi P,
do you still have this problem? Can you try upgrading to the newest version of the barchart gadget plugin for JIRA?
Cheers,
Andreas
