Git version control JIRA plugin service problem

Hello,

we upgraded JIRA from version 4.4.4 to 5.1.7 with "Git Version Control Viewer" plugin.

But in JIRA Services there is Git Revision Indexing Service com.xiplink.jira.git.revisions.RevisionIndexService

which cant be removed or updated. When I click to delete there is an exception:

Unable to load the configuration file 'services/plugins/git/revisionindexservice.xml' please ensure the file exists.

at com.atlassian.configurable.XMLObjectConfigurationFactory.loadObjectConfiguration(XMLObjectConfigurationFactory.java:95)
at com.atlassian.jira.service.AbstractService.getObjectConfiguration(AbstractService.java:125)
... 234 more

This service is setted to 5 minutes, so every 5 minutes it throws an exception to log file. We tried to uninstall and install plugin again, but we cant get rid off this exceptions.

Do you know where could be the problem?

Quick question - what version of the plugin do you have installed? The latest version is 1.0.4.

Hi Adam,

yes, we have plugin in version 1.0.4

But seems that problem doesn t occur when we start jira via jirauser account, not by root.
