Hello,
Sorry if this has been asked already, I couldn't find someone that has but to give people access to create rules in A4J we currently have to give them admin access to a project.
That doesn't feel right to me so is there a better way I'm missing please?
Thanks in advance,
Mark
Hey Mark,
Yep anyone who is setting up rules needs to have admin access to the project.
By default, it is only Global Admins who can create and edit rules. This is for security purposes (obviously if too many people had access, it could get out of your control)
However, in the global config section, you can choose whether you want project admins to manage project rules.
You can read more about it here: https://blog.codebarrel.io/permissions-for-project-automation-7e17c5c8cbb3
Hope that helps!
Cheers,
John (Automation for Jira)
