I have an open question which has garnered one non answer and Atlassian Answers keeps sending me reminders that the question is open. How do I prevent this?
I can't "Accept an answer" becuase my question hasn't been answered. I can't "Answer" my "own question" because I don't know the answer. I don't know what other information I need to provide to get it answered and my only coment asking for info on the existing non-answer has itself gone unanswered.
So, not only am I not getting any help with my problem, I'm constantly being nagged about leaving it open!
Is there any way to prevent this 'reminders'?
As mentioned over on https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/228698/how-do-i-get-answers-to-stop-spamming-to-accept-an-answer a Jira ticket has been submitted to implement a 'there is no answer' option which is cleared when another answer is given: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/ANSWERS-1262
And, yes, I am going to accept this non-answer, to prevent getting spammed with more remiders to accept an answer on this question while it is being implemented. *8')
You might want to follow https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/228698/how-do-i-get-answers-to-stop-spamming-to-accept-an-answer as well - there's a bit more info and use cases, and Dennis has said Atlassian are going to think about how best to improve it.

I guess you could close it but that is really meant for spam or duplicates. You could "answer" your own question and accept or see if you can interest someone to answer it.
If you had a link to it here, you could have already had people looking at it ;-)

It's been a while and this question remains unanswered. Please allow the users to turn off these annoying emails without having to close/answer your own question when there is NO solution.
I get this stupid reminder on my question https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/223443/jira-ondemand-show-total-time-spent-on-task-while-restricting-access-to-subtasks That has not a single acceptable answer at the moment

But if I unsubscribe, I won't get a notification if I do get an answer! I just don't want to get frequent annoying no answer yet notifications.
