How does Comala handle excerpts?

It appears that Comala Document Management hides draft content when displaying the Excerpt Include macro, but I can't find anything about this in the documentation. Can someone confirm this behavior?

Hi @Tim H_ 

Comala Document Management does in fact hide this draft content with same-space publishing. This can be enabled in the Space configuration settings under "Published View Macro Transformation". You can find configuration instructions here.
