How does this plugin cope with rich-text renderers? Does it display HTML tags?

I'm currently using JEditor Renderers for some text fields, and when I export issues to excel, I'm getting all HTML tags in the export.

Does this plugin use those HTML tags to display data as JIRA does or does it display the tags?

IssueEditor displays the tags as string, can't recognize it as HTML tag.
