I am looking into generating xRay test report across all the projects in a single page. Is this possible and if yes can you please guide me how to achieve this.
Hi @Raushan Ranjan ,
In case you find that the built-in reports in Xray are not flexible enough for what you are looking for, another option you can try is Better Excel Exporter. You can use that app to export Xray managed test data to Excel and use Excel's tried and tested features to analyze data. The app even comes with dedicated Excel report templates for Xray:
You can find more examples and details here.
(Please note that Better Excel Exporter is a paid and supported app and I'm part of the team developing it.)
Hi Raushan! There are many ways to get Xray test reports out of Jira. There are numerous built in reports that Xray offers, and depending on if you have the Cloud or Server version you will see different report options (links included for Cloud and Server reports above).
It all depends on the details you are looking for when exporting the tests. Some fields can be added in simply by using an Advanced Search in Jira with a JQL query, then exporting that way.
issuetype = Test (or whatever you have called your tests in your instance) should return all Tests across all Jira Projects.
There is also the option of using Xporter, but again all depends on what detail you are trying to export exactly.
Hope this helps. Thanks!
