How to increase question reward?

Can I increase the reward for answering one of my questions later, i.e. in case it's become more important to me?

Maybe ... can you cancel the bounty offer, and then, offer another (higher) bounty?

The same button shows for me @add to bounty@, to add some additional bounty. Perhaps you have too little karma to do that? ... don't know.
