How to map zephyr test case importer fields to excel?

My test cases are written in excel and using zephyr test case importer I am trying to import. But, while doing fields mapping one of the column names "Expected result" in the excel not able to map with the existing importer tool. Please let me know how to achieve this?

Hi @Balaji Natarajan ,

Thanks for asking your question on the community.

For Zephyr for Jira, if you want to map the Expected Result from your Excel field, you would want to map it to the “Result” Jira field. For Server, if you view step 7 on https://zephyrdocs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ZFJ0500/pages/1061421425/Import  You can drag and drop the Expected Result field to the “Result” Jira field.

For Cloud, you would use the importer tool to essentially do the same by mapping the Expected Result field to match the “Result” Jira field. Image provided for reference:

Hi BalaJi,

Welcome to the Atlassian Community.

I am not sure for Zephyr for Jira but you can try QMetry for Jira which has easy Import/Export capabilities from an Excel and also provide good traceability and reporting option.
