Several of our tests are dependent on the order in which they are executed. We're finding that after taking the time to set the Execution order for a Test Cycle that this data is lost when creating a clone.

Is there a way to preserve this data?

I'm not looking to preserve the Execution status Data when cloning, I understand the need to reset that. The issue I'm seeing is once the user has added their tests, and made use of the Reorder Execution option for one test cycle, when they clone that cycle, the order is lost. I would expect that order to be preserved, and not make the user have to go back and reorder all the test cases again.

Hello Nick,

I would like to inform you that Zephyr for JIRA restored the status of the Test cases to unexecuted after cloning the Test cycle. Zephyr for JIRA has the functionality to reorder the test cases. You can reorder the the test cases by Test id etc.

Thank you.

Kind Regards,

 Vimal.
