How to resolve error input string for scroll office wiki pdf or word export

When I export a Confluence space some of the pages export with an error: 'error input string "". I have searched the pages and removed any <class> references and that worked for some of the pages and they export correctly. Any other suggestions for what other code gotchas i can search for and delete in these pages that export with an error?
